Gus Malzahn returns to the plains ins 2013 and a very challenging Schedule awaits AU’s first year head coach. Auburn is coming off a 3-9 season and 0-8 performance in the SEC and with as many as 3 SEC West teams projected for the top 10, things are not going to be any easier. Getting off to a 2-0 start would be critical to the Tigers success in 2013 and the first 3 games on Auburn’s schedule are all winnable and could turn things around quickly before playing on the road at LSU. Tennessee makes it’s first appearance on AU’s schedule since 2009 and Georgia will return to Auburn for a second consecutive season for the first time ever in the South’s oldest rivalry. Auburn will finish the season with Alabama on Nov 30.
Each team in the conference this season will benefit from 2 bye weeks & Auburn’s will come before the Ole Miss game on October 5 and the Alabama game on Nov 30th.
